Welcome Bienvenido
Wow What a Ride!
I first started practicing Yoga more than 25 years ago with an intention to improve my posture.
Little did I know that this practice would improve every single aspect of my wellbeing!
I used to work for a large Oil Company in IT in Canada and the Middle East. I knew from an early age that life is simply meant to be enjoyed, so I quit my job, sold most of my earthly possessions and moved to Manzanillo, Mexico.
Now I am happily living here, as a certified 500 RYT, Thai Massage Therapist and Isha Meditation Facilitator.

Shelley Reid’s Yoga classes on Zoom have been a lifeline for me during the pandemic - and while I will miss Club Santiago this winter, I stay connected to ZLO by practicing with Shelley and her wonderful students in Mexico, Canada and the US. Shelley has a creative approach to teaching. Her classes are fluid and intuitive as she explores the full dimension of Yoga - accessible to both novice and experienced Yoginis. I can’t recommend Shelley’s classes highly enough! Join up and the Zoom Yoga class will soon become the highlight of your day🙏🏼 Judith Nolte (Ottawa)
As a latecomer to Yoga, I have to admit I started Shelley’s classes with some trepidation during the winter months in Club Santiago, Mexico. I quickly learned that my preconceptions about yoga (shrouded in mysticism, needing to be athletic, and able to fold yourself into a pretzel) were misguided. I now can’t imagine my life without it and am so grateful that Zoom allows me to continue taking Shelley’s classes that she tailors to our interests/needs for stretching, balance, building strength, and most importantly, building a sense of community. Five days a week I look forward to a delicious menu of yoga that Shelley Reid serves up. Shelley’s Zoom Yoga class has been such a pleasure for me and my husband Randy during these challenging times. We plan our mornings around her classes. Shelley works hard preparing special music and delivering innovative classes that are never boring. I am amazed at her ability to deliver such clear instruction while doing yoga with us. She often gives options for more challenging postures to accommodate all levels. We also enjoy seeing beautiful Manzanillo scenery and the occasional dog or cat that photobombs the class and adds humour and fun. Classes end with a chant sung by Shelley and we are all restored, balanced and feel that we have shared something wonderful together. If you are thinking of getting into Yoga or returning after a lapse you will not be disappointed in Shelley’s Zoom class.

I started doing Yoga with Shelley in February at Club Santiago. Then covid hit, we had to grab our yoga mats and head home. I was happy to hear that Shelley was going to offer yoga 5 days a week on Zoom. I have been doing yoga with her since April. Thank you Shelley. She amazes me with her ability to vary the routine every day and provide an alternative option to a pose depending on your yoga level. Her instructions are always so clear that I feel I could do yoga with her even if she offered it on the radio!!!! Being a male in the class, I have always felt welcomed and accepted. One of the great advantages to Zoom is that during class, you can tilt your computer camera to the ceiling so you do not have to be on screen if you so choose. Because of you Shelley, my body and mind are in a much better place, especially in this time of covid.
Hugs to you, Randy
